Sorry you are having issues with your battery.
Normally with a cleaning, we get about 50-60% of batteries to work again.
Because of the PACT Act additions recently enacted in April of 2021 to include Electronic Nicotine devices, we can no longer ship out replacements to residential addresses for batteries. This is rather unfortunate, so we have to ask that you take it back to the store you bought it from for a swap out. If they have issues with returns after so many days, you can show them this webpage to accept returns on warranty stuff. We always comp the stores on returns so there should be no issues. We tell every buyer when ordering our batteries that we offer a full year of support to take it back to the store they bought it from, but sometimes budtenders don't get all the details on how to process returns.
They should check it out and test it for you and determine if it is broken. We are very sorry to make this harder than it should, but our Government wants to make it hard for everyone to vape.
The #1 Cause for Malfunction: Cartridge is not connected to the battery.
This is caused when the pin contact on the base of the cartridge has been pushed too far up into the base of the cartridge causing a loss of battery connection. To fix this issue, unscrew the cart off the battery, then with the tip of a pocket knife, or the tip of a box cutter work well, even your fingernail if long enough, use caution please don’t cut yourself! You simply pry out the pin just a little bit so it is flush with the bottom of the cartridge.
The #2 Reason – Weather!
When the warm weather is here, it is important to never leave the cartridge and battery exposed to hot temperatures, i.e. in the car, out at the beach, etc. This is a guaranteed way to cause the cartridge to simply not work properly. Almost like if you left your phone in the hot sun for 8 hours it would fry the phone. Make it a point to never leave your cartridge in the car. This helps more than you know!
When it’s cold outside, the same things apply. Don’t leave your cartridge in the cold car, outside on a deck or smoking area, etc. If the cartridge gets cold, the oil will thicken and cause it not to pull. If this happens, we advise you (after trouble shooting the battery and cartridge) to put the cartridge in a small ziplock bag in a warm cup of water to warm the oil. Then try it on your battery again.
Reason #3 – “My cartridge is not pulling”
If it seems the cartridge is not “pulling”, first check if your battery is fully charged and the button when clicked is lighting up when you push it. If you are getting a red blinking light, it mostly likely indicates there is a cartridge problem, or a connection issue.
Reason #4 - The battery keeps turning itself off.
This is a design feature to help solve leaking carts. Most people forget to turn off their battery and end up having it sat on, or bumped with objects in a purse that activate it and cause the cart to boil and leak oil. We have a 20 minute auto shut off feature that solves this problem for leaking issues. It is working as it should to turn off.
